I recently got a good deal on a GoPro Hero+ so I decided to pick one up. It’s my first GoPro so I don’t have much plans for it yet. I wanted to use it as a HD webcam but to my surprise, you can’t. At least not without a lot of setting up and using third-party drivers and configurations. Too much of a hassle.
I decided to look for some accessories since you don’t get anything out of the box. There are plenty in Amazon. The one kit I ended up purchasing is from Vanwalk. It has good reviews and affordable. Here are a few accessories that I was after.
Comes with a nice bag.
The headstrap is comfortable. The strap expands to fit different circumference. #duckface
The bodystrap is comfortable. It can be adjusted for different body shapes.
Suction cup “thingy”. I may use this on my car’s windshield to capture my commute. I see plenty of crazy things.
They call it a monopod, but it’s really a selfie stick. Gotta have one I guess.
Screwdriver for the screws. Very handy to tighten and loosen the screws.
There are other mounts included for water activities and bikes. It also comes with many extra screws, adhesives, and mounts. I would definitely recommend an accessory kit if you have a GoPro or plan to get one. I don’t know what I’ll be doing with it yet. The price was too good to pass up and I’ve always been curious. The headstrap might be good for hardware reviews I used to do on Youtube but it may get people dizzy. It is a lighter camera and easier to mount in different places. Stay tuned for content from the GoPro.
