Last weekend, I had the opportunity to join a group of Tesla owners on a fantastic road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). It was my first Tesla Run, and I had an absolute blast. We started our journey at the Santa Monica Supercharger, a bustling hub of Tesla enthusiasts, and then embarked on a scenic drive through some of the most beautiful coastal towns in California.
The Santa Monica Supercharger is a popular spot for Tesla owners to meet up and socialize. It’s a large facility with plenty of charging stalls and a nearby building with restrooms and vending machines. While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I had a chance to chat with some of the other attendees and learn about their Tesla experiences.
Once everyone was ready, we set off on our PCH adventure. Our first stop was Pacific Palisades, a charming coastal town with beautiful homes and stunning ocean views. We took a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood and enjoyed the fresh sea air.
From Pacific Palisades, we continued our journey north along the PCH. The drive was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning coastal scenery and winding roads. We made a stop at Point Mugu, a popular beach destination with a variety of outdoor activities.
After a long day of exploring, we headed back south towards Los Angeles. I was surprised at how much energy my Model Y still had left, even after driving over 200 miles.
